As many of you know, CSR Marine will be relocating from our current location on Commodore Way (in Magnolia) to a new facility across the bay on the Ballard waterfront. The new location offers many enhancements, including a much, much larger enclosed space and a better storm water collection system.
While we have been making infrastructure improvements at the new yard for a couple weeks, the real move starts today when we transport our Travelift, via barge, to the new yard. We'll keep you posted via this blog, and possibly Facebook, as the move progress.
First picture shows one of our two 70-ton Travelifts being transported by the classic steam powered Foss barge/crane. Perfect weather!
The lift has been off-loaded at the new yard and will be ready for hauling boats sometime next week.
